The “Flickflauder” is one of the newest rooms in our guesthouse. The antique wood furnishing creates a charming and warm atmosphere. The spacious bathroom is separated by a solid wooden barn sliding door. Further, the room offers a beautiful patio with garden access. It is the ideal place to relax!

“Backnasli” is an old Appenzeller term for a five-franc coin, or for a person who enjoys sticking their nose in others’ business. A real nosy parker, you could say.
Our “Backnasli” is located in the new part of the guesthouse. Great attention to detail was used to refinish and reuse old wood, creating a unique and charming ambience. The freestanding bathtub in the room has a lovely view and invites you to relax and enjoy.

“Hambartli” – modern with a cosy rustic touch
The former owner of the neighbouring property earned the nickname “Hambartli” because of his bewhiskered, old-timey appearance. This name has been used for the property ever since.
